Lyon-based product development studio Rtone announces the departure of Adrien Desportes, co-founder and managing director of Rtone, and the appointment of Charly Hamy as the company’s new representative
After joining the ABMI group and then HOUSE OF ABY, Rtone is taking a new step in its evolution with the departure of Adrien Desportes, co-founder and director of the company since its creation. Adrien Desportes is stepping down from the General Management of Rtone but remains a shareholder in the group. This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for the product development studio, which continues to grow with its strengthened teams.
This management handover is in line with the values and vision that have made Rtone successful since its inception. Charly Hamy and the management team are taking the reins with the ambition to continue and amplify Rtone’s development.
This organisational change is accompanied by a reaffirmation of Rtone’s core identity:
‘Expert, committed teams who take pleasure in bringing our clients’ projects to life.’
Rtone’s ambition for the coming years is to consolidate its position as a leader in France and a major player in Europe in the design of products and solutions at the cutting edge of physical and digital technology.

This new organisation enables Rtone to maintain its technical excellence while accelerating its development, backed by its team of more than 80 engineers and its portfolio of more than 150 developed products.
The entire team would like to thank Adrien Desportes for his commitment and entrepreneurial vision, which have helped build the company into what it is today. His legacy continues to inspire Rtone’s future development in this new phase of growth.
Rtone is a product development studio and member of the HOUSE OF ABY group. Since 2007, Rtone has been supporting its clients in the research, design, industrialisation, production and maintenance of smart, connected solutions. Rtone has more than 80 engineers and covers all engineering needs, from electronics, embedded software, the cloud, mechanics and hardware. To date, Rtone has developed more than 150 products.
