StartAndFab has been supporting startups and SMEs in their industrialisation phases since 2014.
Support that covers all aspects of industrialisation: the development of an emerging project, budgeting, planning, product development, manufacturing or even production management.
StartAndFab has thus accompanied the production of drones capable of following a sportsman in the middle of nature, the charming Lovebox, coffee machines integrating connectivity and the first electric bicycle designed in a natural material… sometimes within deadlines bordering on the limits of what is possible (6 months for a medium-sized production run).
The secret to this success? A method for anticipating industrialisation from the project idea, gauging the necessary budget and anticipating the risks. As well as a lot of experience!
Behind StatAndFab is Guillaume Pollin; serial entrepreneur, co-founder and Industrial Director of Delta Drone, and above all a specialist in product industrialisation.
With his experience within Thales group and his knowledge of startups, he created StartAndFab in order to help startups and VSEs take the first step towards industrialisation.
Alongside Julien Compain, Guillaume Pollin has developed StartAndFab with a strong presence in the Grenoble region and its dynamic ecosystem. StartAndFab is also a solid network of French industrial partners. The objective: to strengthen and facilitate the production made in France.
By joining Rtone, the ambition is clear: to expand the business and support more project leaders (startups, SMEs and ETIs) in their industrialisation stage.
Guillaume and Julien will thus be able to focus on both the architecture of the projects and the more technical support for industrialisation and coordination with the various suppliers.
With the arrival of StartAndFab, Rtone x ABMI continues its drive to cover all engineering needs in product design, throughout France and beyond.
After integrating ABMI’s existing product engineering department, Rtone has consolidated its teams with more than 50 engineers specialising in mechanics, electronics, embedded software, cloud and mobile.
Today, Rtone confirms its position as an IoT design office “like no other”, present at all stages of an innovative project: from the study, design, industrialisation, production and maintenance of connected solutions.
